Job Description: 

A Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive outreach and strategic prospecting efforts. This role focuses on expanding the company’s client base by building relationships with decision-makers and qualifying opportunities for the sales team. The ideal candidate is results-driven, organized, and comfortable managing structured outreach initiatives in a remote environment. While your duties will depend on the specific needs of your client, they will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Identify target industries, companies, and decision-makers aligned with the company’s growth strategy and ideal customer profile.
  • Execute outbound outreach campaigns through phone calls, email sequences, LinkedIn engagement, and other approved prospecting channels.
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their business challenges, needs, budget, and decisionmaking process.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients through consistent follow-up and value-driven communication.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings and transfer opportunities to Account Executives with proper documentation and context.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions, pipeline status, and followup actions within CRM systems.
  • Track outreach performance metrics including connection rates, meeting conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine targeting strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, outbound sales, or prospecting roles.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
  • Ability to meet outreach and pipeline generation targets consistently
Technical Requirements
  • Processor: Intel 11th Gen (or equivalent AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows users and M2 for Macs
  • RAM: 16 GB minimum
  • 25 - 50 Mbps Internet Speed (Min)
  • USB headset with noise-canceling (ideally)

  • 0-3 months: $1,200 USD/month
  • After 3 months: You’ll receive a $50 monthly Wellness Bonus to support a healthy and balanced work life (total: $1,250/month).
  • After 1 year: Salary increases to $1,340 USD/month
  • After 2 years: Salary increases to $1,480 USD/month
  • After 3 years: Salary increases to $1,540 USD/month
  • After 4 years: Salary increases to $1,600 USD/month
Two Annual Adjustments: Every year, you benefit from two salary increases: one on your work anniversary, recognizing your continued tenure with WorkBetterNow, and one at the start of each calendar year, when all salary ranges are updated company-wide.
