Job Summary

This role is ideal for a true “hunter” who is energized by winning new accounts and making a direct impact on revenue growth. You’ll have the autonomy to own your pipeline, shape your strategy, and play a key role in scaling our client base in a competitive market.


You’ll succeed here if you:

  • Excel at breaking into new accounts and opening doors
  • Are comfortable navigating enterprise, mid-market, and MSP/VMS environments
  • Take full ownership of your pipeline from prospecting through close



Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and secure new client partnerships for staffing and consulting services
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach (cold calling, email, networking, referrals, and digital channels)
  • Establish and nurture relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and key decision-makers
  • Present and position contract staffing, managed services, and direct hire solutions tailored to client needs
  • Own the full sales cycle- from initial outreach through deal close and client handoff
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in ATS/CRM
  • Support account managers in expanding existing client relationships by identifying growth opportunities and contributing to upsell and cross-sell efforts when requested
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking engagements, and client meetings as needed


Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of business development experience within the staffing industry
  • Proven track record of generating new business and driving revenue growth (this is not an account management role)
  • Experience selling contract staffing, consulting services, and/or direct hire solutions
  • Strong prospecting and client acquisition skills across multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in recruiting or talent acquisition
  • Established network of hiring managers, HR leaders, or industry contacts
  • Experience in technical, professional, or specialized staffing markets
  • Familiarity with Bullhorn or similar ATS/CRM systems

Pay range is $70,000-$90,000  with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
