Business Analyst – Technical & Customer Facing

This is a remote position.

• Co-develop the product vision and roadmap with the Product Owner. Turn business strategy and stakeholder needs into a clear, prioritised plan for the teams data products.
  
• Engage stakeholders to understand their goals and pain points, define success metrics, and spell out the value each data product will deliver.
  
• Shape and prioritise initiatives by assessing value, effort, dependencies and risk. Use this to help decide what to build next and to keep the roadmap current.
  
• Turn roadmap items into delivery-ready work. Break them into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and manage the backlog in JIRA and AirFocus.
  
• Define technical requirements, covering data sources, integration points, data quality, lineage, security and performance expectations.
  
• Work with data engineers and architects on pragmatic, scalable solutions that stay aligned with the product vision.
  
• Communicate the roadmap and progress to stakeholders and leadership, so expectations and priorities stay aligned.
  
• Track realised value after release, and use the feedback to guide future roadmap decisions.
  

Requirements

• Experience in clinical trial data.
  
• Understanding of regulated environments (e.g. GxP, data privacy).
  
• Familiarity with product management practices such as OKRs, value-based prioritisation and product discovery.
