What You’ll Do

As a Business Analyst, you will partner with business stakeholders to gather business requirements, define and document business processes, participate in process design and optimization, coordinate project activities, and support all phases of software development. This position plays a key role in evaluating business and operational processes, coordinating requirements with corresponding audit controls, and implementing process solutions. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, adaptable, and able to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Work closely with department managers and end-users to define and analyze business and operational problems, process improvement opportunities, and requirements.
  • Engage with the Project Management Office (PMO) on planning, project execution, timelines, budgets, and project documentation.
  • Evaluate methods to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of business and operational processes and develop project charters, requirements documents, process models, and user manuals.
  • Coordinate project tasks, assign work, monitor progress, organize meetings, track issues, risks, action items, and variances through closure.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate performance and insights; maintain the business process inventory, application features, PMO calendar, backlog, and comprehensive project documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including developing training materials and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant products, technologies, and processes.

 

Who you are

An ideal candidate brings:

  • A service-first mindset, clear communication skills, strong attention to detail, and sound judgment when approaching challenges. The ideal candidate is solutions-focused and thrives in both independent and team settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or high school diploma/GED plus equivalent experience required.
  • Project management certification (CAPM, PMP, or similar) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Visio, collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Teams, Copilot, generative AI, and project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project.
  • Demonstrates leadership by facilitating cross-functional collaboration, coordinating project activities, driving accountability for action items, and proactively escalating risks and issues to support successful outcomes.
  • Strong organizational, planning, time management, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, adaptability to new technologies, and the ability to work effectively with peers, end users, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

 

Experience that sets you apart:

  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in business systems analysis, applying structured methods to evaluate, document, and improve business and system workflows.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a project coordinator, project support, or administrative role.
  • 2–5 years of experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Experience developing training materials, handouts, desktop procedures, process models, reports, dashboards, and maintaining project documentation is preferred.

 

The salary range for this role is from $95,000 to $105,000 annually. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on factors such as geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
