ABOUT THE ROLE
We're growing our business analysis capability to support a new engagement with a leading financial institution. As Business Analyst, you'll take ownership of business analysis for this engagement from day one - working closely with a Product Manager who sets the strategic direction and manages the client relationship at a senior level, while you own translating that direction into structured, actionable analysis and drive delivery day to day.

You'll move fluidly between the big picture and the fine detail, keeping every requirement traceable back to the business objective it serves. We're looking for someone with solid, independent BA fundamentals who is also happy to adapt to our team's standards and ways of working.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end business analysis: elicit, analyze, and structure requirements from business, regulatory, and technical stakeholders.

• Move fluidly between strategic context and implementation detail - keep requirements traceable to business goals while ensuring functional and technical specifications are precise enough for development and testing teams to build from.

• Analyze existing systems, processes, and data flows; design and document system integrations, identifying dependencies, risks, and the impact of proposed changes.

• Prepare and maintain business and solution documentation (business requirements, functional and technical specifications, process models, user stories), adjusting level of detail to audience and lifecycle stage.

• Participate in workshops and discussions across business, IT, and client stakeholders - surfacing gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities rather than just recording requests.

• Validate that delivered solutions meet requirements and deliver the intended business value; support UAT and issue resolution during implementation.

• Represent the team directly with client stakeholders on day-to-day analysis topics, escalating strategic or scope decisions to the Product Manager as needed.

• Plan and deliver analysis work within an Agile delivery cadence.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, including experience in financial services (banking, lending, or similar).

• Strong structured and critical thinking: able to break down complex, ambiguous problems into clear, actionable requirements without losing sight of the broader objective.

• Excellent stakeholder-facing communication in English (written and verbal); confident engaging directly with client stakeholders.

• At least 2+ years of experience with requirements modeling and documentation, including BPMN and/or UML.

• Working knowledge of SQL and general data literacy is preferrable.

• Experience with system/integration analysis - understanding how data and processes flow across systems and identifying dependencies.

• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.

• Comfortable working with a good degree of independence, while genuinely open to feedback, and willing to adapt to an established team's standards and ways of working.
