The Role

As a Brand Strategist, you’ll define how we communicate the depth and purpose of our mission—elevating the human stories behind the data that powers smarter, more empathetic AI. You’ll craft strategic frameworks that guide our voice, identity, and campaigns, ensuring our brand resonates across the AI ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop brand strategy, positioning, and messaging frameworks that bring clarity and cohesion to Surge’s identity

  • Translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives that inspire both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Partner with creative, marketing, and technical teams to ensure campaigns, content, and communications reflect a consistent and powerful brand voice

What We’re Looking for

  • Experienced brand strategist (agency or in-house) with a track record of shaping brand positioning and messaging in high-growth or tech environments

  • Skilled in building frameworks and narratives that make complex ideas clear, compelling, and scalable across channels

  • Equally strong in big-picture thinking and hands-on execution, with meticulous attention to language, coherence, and detail

  • Collaborative partner who thrives in fast-paced, founder-led environments and can bridge creative, marketing, and technical teams

  • Passionate about AI shaped by humanity, with the ability to craft strategy that reflects both rigor and empathy
