The Brand and Content Coordinator will develop and execute marketing strategies, content calendars, and brand messaging across multiple digital channels. Additionally, they will lead the planning and execution of tournament brand experiences, including signage, promotional materials, and event-themed engagement initiatives.
Role Overview:
As the Brand and Content Coordinator, you will develop and execute marketing content that brings our brand to life through creative marketing, engaging content, and memorable event experiences. You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure brand consistency and engaging storytelling across all channels-from social media and email to our website and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and content calendar while collaborating across departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms.
Create, publish, and manage engaging content across websites, email marketing, social media, blogs, and event campaigns before, during, and after tournaments.
Develop, manage, and execute social media strategy and content across all platforms while monitoring performance metrics and analytics to optimize engagement and drive continued growth.
Lead the planning and execution of the tournament brand experience by coordinating signage, branded materials, venue presentation, Front of House setup, and vendor partnerships to create a professional and engaging event atmosphere.
Create graphics for tournaments, venues, registration platforms, meeting presentations, Ticketbud, MeetingMax, Google Forms, and other event materials.
Design tournament logos, event branding, apparel graphics, and promotional materials.
Create signage, promotional displays, and branded event materials.
Develop creative event themes and engagement initiatives, including giveaways, prizes, bag tags, promotional experiences, and themed activities that encourage participation from athletes, officials, and attendees.
Support tournament marketing and communications before, during, and after events, including promotional campaigns, participant communications, post-event surveys, and feedback collection.
Recruit, supervise, and mentor seasonal Social Media Interns.
Coordinate branding elements throughout tournament venues to ensure a professional and engaging atmosphere.
What we are looking for:
Must be willing to travel and attend events on some weekends
Experience in marketing, communications, branding, or a related field
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and basic analytics tools
Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
Experience using design tools such as Canva or Adobe
Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for visual storytelling.
Sports Experience, especially Volleyball, is recommended but not required
