Overview
Room to Read seeks a contractor to complete distribution agreements for our Indigenous Book Collection and follow up on outstanding partner reports for the 2025 Peace & Equality Book Collection. The contractor will communicate with partners, finalize agreements, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate records.
Scope of Work
Weeks 1–2: Indigenous Book Collection agreements
Complete a brief training on the agreement review process
Contact prospective distribution partners by email or phone to collect the information needed for their agreements
Review each agreement for accuracy and completeness
Obtain signatures through DocuSign
File signed agreements in SharePoint and update status records
Provide weekly progress updates
Week 3: Peace & Equality Book Collection partner reports
Request outstanding reports from 2025 distribution partners and track responses and follow-up
Key Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organization
Experience in administration, contract processing, or document management
Clear, professional communication skills and confidence following up by email and phone
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and comfort using SharePoint
Experience preparing, routing, and tracking signatures in DocuSign
Ability to manage PDF files and organized electronic records
Ability to manage a high volume of documents and follow-up tasks on schedule

Your relevant experience in contract or document processing, partner communication, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, PDF management, and DocuSign
Compensation
Payment will be an agreed on fixed fee for the full scope of work.

All adults should be treated with respect and dignity.
Room to Read implements a survivor-centered approach, putting the survivor’s rights and dignity at the forefront.
Survivors referred to available professional assistance (e.g. mental health counselling), upon consent.
