Book Content Editor – Spanish & Italian Speaking - Remote

We are seeking a Book Editor to join a global technology company and become part of an international team focused on enhancing the digital experience for books and audio content.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and curating book content and recommendations across Spain, Italy, and San Marino. Your work will include editorial planning, content curation, copywriting, trend research, and collaboration with publishers.

You will help drive the editorial direction for books in these markets by selecting and managing featured content, creating engaging copy, reviewing and categorizing titles, and developing strong relationships with publishing partners in Spain and Italy.

A key part of the role will be staying up to date with local culture, publishing trends, authors, and new releases. By combining market insights, research, and data, you will create relevant and engaging recommendations for local audiences. You will also work closely with editorial colleagues and cross-functional teams across international markets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in editorial work, content curation, or content merchandising within a digital platform, publishing company, or established book retailer

• Fluency in both Spanish and Italian

• Strong English communication skills and confidence working with international teams

• Solid understanding of the Spanish and Italian publishing and book markets

• Extensive knowledge of books, authors, series, and titles, with a strong ability to identify relevant content and recommendations

• Ability to use both quantitative data and qualitative insights when making editorial decisions

• Experience developing diverse and representative content recommendations

• Genuine interest in books, audiobooks, and spoken-word content

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
