As a Senior CrowdStrike Security Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organisation's endpoint security posture using CrowdStrike Falcon Exposure Management and Falcon Insight EDR/XDR. You will manage vulnerability scanning coverage, endpoint protection, security agent upgrades, EDR health verification, and related security infrastructure activities.
You will work closely with security, infrastructure, network, IT operations, vendors, and Japan-based stakeholders to process security requests, coordinate changes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure endpoint environments remain secure and up to date.
The role also involves supporting ServiceNow-based change and patch management, AWS golden-image updates, certificate renewals, endpoint deployments, and security incident documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Threat & Vulnerability Management
- Manage vulnerability scanning registration and ensure appropriate endpoint and server coverage.
- Process and coordinate firewall blocking requests related to identified threats and vulnerabilities.
- Manage CrowdStrike Falcon sensor/agent upgrades across endpoints and servers.
- Provide technical support for scanning, agent, remediation, and vulnerability-related issues.
- Verify the impact of ServiceNow patch applications and change requests on vulnerability management environments.
- Coordinate with network and infrastructure teams for security-related changes.
- Prepare accurate incident and activity reports for vulnerability and threat-management events.
EDR & Endpoint Security
- Monitor and verify the health, coverage, and status of CrowdStrike EDR agents.
- Troubleshoot endpoint, server, and terminal agent-related issues.
- Support EDR agent deployment and server onboarding activities.
- Manage ADFS certificate renewals and related identity-federation activities.
- Coordinate terminal and endpoint version upgrades across group companies and affiliated environments.
- Coordinate AWS golden image version upgrades and ensure required security agents are incorporated.
- Perform supplier and vendor information verification as required.
- Maintain accurate security documentation, change records, and incident reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve security operations issues promptly.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, endpoint security, or vulnerability management.
- Strong hands-on experience administering the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
- Solid experience with Falcon Exposure Management/Spotlight for vulnerability management and Falcon Insight EDR/XDR.
- Proven experience managing vulnerability scanning coverage, agent deployment, and sensor lifecycle upgrades.
- Good understanding of firewall change and blocking processes and coordination with network security teams.
- Experience troubleshooting EDR agents across endpoints, servers, and enterprise terminals.
- Practical experience with ServiceNow for patch management, change requests, or security operations.
- Experience with ADFS certificate renewals and identity-federation environments.
- Experience supporting AWS infrastructure and golden image management is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security operations, vulnerability remediation, and security incident management.
- Experience preparing clear and accurate security incident and operational reports.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow security change-management and operational procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.
- Business-level English proficiency is required.
- Japanese language proficiency is an advantage, particularly for coordination with Japan-based stakeholders.
- CrowdStrike certifications such as CCFA or CCFR are desirable.
- Experience with ServiceNow Security Operations or Vulnerability Response modules is an advantage.
- Experience supporting security operations for financial services or insurance organisations is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple security activities, and operate effectively in a remote, global environment.
