Bilingual Litigation Paralegal

Location: Remote (Colombia)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Colombia Time)

Prior legal experience working with U.S. law firms required. Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Litigation Paralegal to provide essential support to U.S. law firm clients throughout all phases of civil litigation. You will handle legal research, document drafting, discovery management, and trial preparation in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial and appeal.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents and exhibits are current and accessible.
• Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Prepare and manage discovery, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Assist in preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Ensure compliance with court rules, procedures, and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably focused on U.S. civil litigation.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court rules, and legal terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
