Bilingual Front Desk/ Insurance Specialist - Cardiology

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and highly professional Bilingual Virtual Assistant to support our client's high-volume Cardiology practice during EST business hours. The ideal candidate has prior hands-on experience in a U.S. cardiology setting, mastery of eClinicalWorks (eCW), and exceptional English and Spanish phone communication skills to manage critical patient inquiries, medical results, and scheduling with high patience and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

• Call Management: Manage high-volume inbound phone calls, route communications appropriately, and handle patient requests with utmost respect and empathy.
• Results & Messaging: Communicate lab/test stats and results to patients as directed, utilizing TigerConnect for secure messaging.
• Scheduling: Book and coordinate urgent/stat appointments within eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage status prior to appointments. Full insurance verification cycle experience.
• Administrative Operations: Provide general front-desk support utilizing eCW.

Requirements

Language: Native or fully fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish, featuring clear phone articulation and a professional tone.

Software: At least 1 year of hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) is strictly required. Familiarity with TigerConnect is strongly preferred.

Specialty Experience: Background working specifically within a U.S. Cardiology practice is required.

Core Competencies: Exceptional patience, empathy, and a high level of professional integrity. Zero tolerance for dynamic conflict or unprofessionalism.

Schedule: Full-time commitment working 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.

Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a starting pay rate of $6 per hour, depending on skill set and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
