Job Description Summary
Behavioral Health Clinician (Remote – California License Required)
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and establish DSM‑5‑TR diagnoses
Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse mental health and substance use conditions
Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence‑based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and problem‑solving therapy
Manage patient risk through safety assessments, crisis intervention, and higher‑level‑of‑care coordination
Partner with psychiatry, primary care, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, whole‑person care
Participate in clinical quality initiatives, case consultations, peer review, and outcomes monitoring
Mentor Behavioral Health Consultants and junior clinical staff
Maintain timely, accurate EHR documentation in compliance with licensing and regulatory standards
Coordinate with psychiatric consultants and PCPs to manage patient panels and communicate recommendations
Deliver virtual care aligned with evidence‑based symptom‑management models
Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent)
Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
3+ years post‑licensure providing psychotherapy across diverse populations
Advanced training or competency in at least one evidence‑based modality (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PST, trauma‑focused therapy, etc.)
Experience with high‑acuity situations including crisis intervention and safety planning
Strong EHR documentation skills and familiarity with regulatory and payor requirements
Ability to work independently across multiple care settings with minimal supervision
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort managing complex cases
Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours

Compensation Range:
$32.21to
$48.32
The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
