Organizational Overview: Operations Training & Performance Strategy (T&PS) is the capability-building engine for Operations across the US, Philippines, and India. The organization designs and delivers scalable learning, frontline and frontline leader development, role/job architecture, and certification strategies that improve speed-to-competency, quality, productivity, and readiness—aligned to evolving operating models and future skill needs.

Role Summary/Purpose: AVP, Talent Development is a people manager role. This role serves as the strategic partner to the VP, Talent Development and is accountable for shaping and executing a multi-year, globally scalable talent development strategy for Operations. The AVP leads a multifunctional team delivering frontline and frontline leader development, learning journeys, job architecture/career pathways, and certification strategy ensuring priorities are data-driven, enterprise-aligned, and tied to measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute a multi-year Operations Talent Development roadmap aligned to workforce strategy, operating model changes, and enterprise talent standards

  • Build and scale global FLL development programs and learning journeys using modern blended learning, performance support, and reinforcement

  • Own job architecture, career pathways, and skills/capability frameworks to enable mobility, progression, and future-ready capabilities

  • Define and manage certification strategy (internal/external), including assessment standards, recertification, and governance

  • Drive measurement, dashboards, and business impact outcomes (e.g., speed-to-competency, quality/productivity, retention, readiness), including change management and stakeholder adoption

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of financial services experience (or 5+ years in lieu of a degree)

  • 1+ years of Proven experience in Talent Development / Leadership Development / Training (and/or HR job architecture) with the ability to translate business strategy into scalable development programs

  • People leadership experience, including leading and developing virtual/multi-site teams in a matrixed environment

  • Strong program management/execution discipline: governance, prioritization, delivery quality, and timeline/resource management

  • Data-driven approach to measurement and insights; ability to define success metrics and demonstrate business impact

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

  • Hands-on experience with LMS/LXP and learning tools (admin/optimization).

  • Experience with certification/assessment design, skills-based frameworks, or job architecture at scale.

  • Innovation in learning (e.g., AI-enabled learning, simulations, digital performance support).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of financial services experience (or 5+ years in lieu of a degree)

Work Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM EST
