  • Ensure test artifacts are complete, traceable, repeatable, and suitable for certification evidence.

Avionics Hardware & Software Integration

  • Perform software testing on avionics hardware platforms and integrated hardware/software environments.
  • Support hardware/software integration testing associated with navigation avionics.
  • Evaluate system behavior under normal, abnormal, and boundary conditions.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, interface, and integration issues.
  • Support simulation, bench testing, and hardware in the loop testing environments when applicable.
  • Collaborate with software, systems, hardware, and test engineers to isolate and resolve technical issues.

DO-178C Certification & Compliance

  • Perform verification activities in accordance with DO-178C objectives.
  • Support preparation and maintenance of verification evidence required for avionics certification.
  • Ensure traceability between system requirements, software requirements, test procedures, test results, and identified anomalies.
  • Participate in requirements reviews, test reviews, peer reviews, and certification related activities.
  • Support development and review of verification documentation and certification artifacts.
