This role requires solid knowledge in testing, clear communication and empathy to support and motivate students throughout their learning process.

What you will do

The QA Instructional Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role combining live teaching with technical project evaluation. You will drive student success across the QA bootcamp by delivering high-density live sessions (Webinars and 1:1s) using a centralized, level-based model, while managing asynchronous project reviews and live Co-Learning blocks.

1. Synchronous Instruction & Coaching

• Level-Based Webinars: Deliver 120-minute live webinars grouped by curriculum depth (Initial, Intermediate, Advanced) to serve multiple cohorts simultaneously.
• 1:1 Coaching: Host targeted, 30-minute private coaching sessions via Calendly to resolve automated or manual testing blockers.
• Policy Enforcement: Manage student accountability, ensuring adherence to the 1-session-per-week booking limit.

2. Evaluation & Cohort Support

• Project Evaluation: Grade manual/automated testing projects, bug reports, and test plans against industry standards.
• Co-Learning Facilitation: Lead open video-room study blocks to help students work through blockers in real time.
• Community Management: Oversee 5 assigned cohorts and answer technical queries on Discord.

Requirements

For the QA program, we are looking for an experienced QA-engineer who has:

• 3+ years of work experience in QA (automation, mobile experience is an advantage).
• Experience in automation of testing: Selenium + Python.
• You know how to work with the command line, browser DevTools, Charles/Fiddler sniffers, API testing tools: SoapUI, Postman.
• Familiar with the theory of testing and test design and have basic knowledge of operating systems, networks, system architecture.
• Familiar with basics of SQL.
• B1+ English, fluent Spanish.
• Full-time availability.

• Background as a Senior QA and experience as a hiring manager.
