What You Will Be Doing
- Maintain a world class team by ensuring team members embrace Vertech culture and core values, maintain relevant technical skills, partnership with HR on hiring and performance management processes, and more
- Ensure your automation team stays profitable through oversight of key projects your team members are involved in
- Ensure the efficient use of Vertech team members across projects
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure consistency and reliability of solutions for customer
- Team members maintain technologically current and relevant skillsets.
- Team is adequately staffed with the right skill-sets for current and upcoming projects.
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering related field (or 3 years of related engineering experience)
- Fifteen years’ technical experience
- Seven years’ experience in industrial automation
- 3+ years of leadership experience, accountable for the success of a team of direct reports
- Knowledge of controls/SCADA in a data center environment is a plus
