- We're partnering with one of our Australian education clients to find an AU RTO Compliance & QA Specialist who enjoys turning complex regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable systems. You'll play a key role in keeping the organization audit-ready, improving quality assurance processes, and ensuring compliance remains embedded across day-to-day operations.
- From preparing audit evidence to strengthening documentation, supporting student compliance, and driving continuous improvement, you'll help build a culture where quality isn't an event—it's the standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with the Australian RTO Standards and ASQA requirements.
- Maintain compliance registers, policies, procedures, and controlled documentation.
- Prepare evidence and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Conduct compliance reviews and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready student records.
- Support compliance activities for third-party training partners.
- Improve administrative systems and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting RTO operations.
- Assist with compliance reporting, documentation, and operational projects.
- Maintain organisation-wide audit readiness throughout the year.
- Strengthen compliance systems and documentation practices.
- Improve workflows that enhance operational efficiency.
- Support quality assurance initiatives across the organization.
- Develop practical systems that support continuous improvement.
Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an Australian Registered Training Organization (RTO).
- Experience supporting ASQA compliance and audit preparation.
- Strong knowledge of Australian VET compliance requirements.
- Experience managing compliance documentation and controlled documents.
- Experience using Student Management Systems (SMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and compliance systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with AVETMISS reporting.
- Experience using compliance management software.
- Exposure to RTO registration or re-registration activities.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within an Australian RTO.

- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Work Setup: Fully Remote (Work from Home).
- Client Location: Australia.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday.
- Working Hours: Day-shift (AEST).
