Position Summary
Guggenheim Investments is seeking a highly motivated junior Vendor Management Attorney to join our Legal Team. This position is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and vendor agreements. This role will also develop contract best practices, partner with business stakeholders to negotiate contracts and ensure contract terms align with business needs and analyze data use cases for internal and external technology tools. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business and legal requirements are met, advise on legal issues, and assist with firmwide projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and vendor agreements including enterprise technology transaction documents, such as SaaS agreements, software licenses with technology vendors, subscriptions for products and services with financial services vendors, market data agreements and general commercial contracts
- Review and revise contracts to align with data use cases in collaboration with cross functional groups relating to implementation of AI and workflow management tools
- Support Data Use Council in reviewing legal terms for data use cases firmwide
- Work with cross-functional groups to understand and interpret business requirements into legal terms and conditions
- Collaborate with and advise cross functional groups on implementing key terms of agreements and practically mitigating associated risks
- Assist in development and enhancement of vendor contract review processes, including vendor contract legal analysis and contract management tools
- Evaluate business cases, identify legal risks and effectively communicate and evaluate risks and critical issues
- Advise on data protection, privacy and cyber security matters pertaining to vendor arrangements, including developing and maintaining standardized documentation as applicable and identifying and mitigating related risks
- Draft, review and negotiate NDAs and engagement letters as assigned
- Ensure consistency of documents and ensure compliance with company policies and goals and adherence to regulatory and other requirements
- Work collaboratively with various business groups while providing organization, leadership, motivation, responsiveness, accountability and unyielding integrity
- Work efficiently and adhere to tight timelines
- Develop and implement playbook outlining preferred and fallback positions for firm, incorporating market data and internal preferences
- Assist with other projects as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- JD Required
- 2-4 years of experience at a top law firm or in-house platform, with meaningful exposure to commercial contracts and vendor agreements

Salary Range
Annual base salary between
$135,000.00-$150,000.00The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
