Key Accountability:

  • Hands-on Java web application development experience for TIBCO EBX system
  • Java (Java Enterprise Edition, Java Server Pages, Java Servlets)
  • Data Modelling (UML – Unified Modelling Language, Semantic Modelling XSD, Entity Relationship Modelling)
  • Middleware solutions (ETL – Informatica, Talend, ESB – Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Tibco BusinessWorks)
  • Integration architecture (SOAP XML and RESTful JSON services)
  • Databases (Oracle, MS-SQL, Postgres, MS-SQL, Amazon RDS, Microsoft Azure SQL)
  • Data Warehousing (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift)
  • Application Servers (Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere)
  • Cloud services (Amazon Webservices, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure cloud computing services)
  • Search technologies and caching technologies (Apache Lucene, Apache SOLR)
  • Deployment and containerization methodologies (Docker, Maven, Jenkins) ad development collaboration tools (Git, Bitbucket)
  • Constructively review team members’ code and address issues found in your own code
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of team practices and procedures
  • Participate in all Scrum practices: sprint planning, daily standups, estimation, backlog grooming, sprint demos and retrospectives
  • Provide required support for regular releases including coordination of code moves from dev to test/QA to stage to prod instances, IT/Business validations, and participation in enterprise-wide release meetings
  • Own all production incidents, triaging (Technical, Data, and Functional), assignments, and resolution.
