Job Description

The Associate Director, Regional Oncology Marketing – Women’s Cancers & Genitourinary (GU) Cancers will focus on translating regional strategy into high-quality execution across priority indications and markets. This role is responsible for coordinating commercial initiatives, launch implementation, congress activities, speaker tours, expert meetings, medical symposia, and other customer engagement programs that support brand growth and execution excellence.

The position plays a critical role in partnering with country teams and cross-functional partners to manage timelines, deliverables, logistics, execution trackers, agency coordination, stakeholder follow-up, and post-program learnings. The role requires strong project management, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to make regional initiatives practical and impactful for markets.


1) Commercial Execution and Regional Engagement Excellence

  • Coordinate implementation of regional commercial initiatives across Women’s Cancers and Genitourinary (GU) Cancers in Asia Pacific, translating regional priorities into practical execution plans, timelines, trackers, and market-facing deliverables.
  • Lead planning and coordination of commercial-led regional events, speaker tours, expert exchange programs, medical symposia, advisory boards, and customer engagement forums in partnership with markets and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with local market teams to support timely execution of priority programs, launch activities, customer engagement initiatives, field-force support materials, and post-event follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate key execution requirements including speaker nomination, agenda development, content alignment, market participation, agency support, logistics, compliance review, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Monitor execution progress, identify operational risks or delays, track program outcomes and participant feedback, and facilitate sharing of best practices, tools, and learnings across markets.

2) Launch Implementation and Commercial Activation

  • Support markets in implementing launch plans and activation programs for new indications, lifecycle opportunities, and priority brand initiatives across Women’s and GU cancers.
  • Coordinate launch toolkits, customer materials, field-force resources, training support materials, market adaptation guidance, and congress-related execution assets in partnership with relevant functions.
  • Support major oncology congress activities, including ASCO, ESMO, ESMO Asia, and relevant regional or local congresses, ensuring key data updates and competitive insights are translated into practical launch and commercial actions.
  • Track launch readiness milestones, implementation progress, issue logs, market action items, and post-congress follow-up activities across priority markets.
  • Collect and share launch learnings, early performance indicators, congress insights, competitive updates, and execution best practices to strengthen market activation and post-launch performance.

3) Performance Tracking, Business Review Support and Market Partnership

  • Support preparation of regional business reviews, franchise updates, performance reports, and leadership meeting materials.
  • Assist with forecast consolidation, market input collection, and tracking of key business assumptions where required.
  • Partner with markets to capture customer feedback, execution barriers, program outcomes, and local needs requiring regional support.
  • Ensure clear documentation of decisions, action items, owners, timelines, and follow-up requirements across regional initiatives.

4) Leading Oncology Collaborations

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with oncology collaborations/ alliance/ co-promotion partners, ensuring clear alignment on shared priorities, roles, responsibilities, and ways of working.
  • Co-lead commercial planning, forecasting, performance tracking, and business review processes with collaboration partners and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic direction to markets on growth opportunities, execution priorities, customer engagement, and market-specific challenges related to collaboration brands or indications.
  • Lead discussion on promotional strategy, partnership priorities, resource allocation, and execution plans to support brand growth and maximize collaboration value.

  • High-quality and timely execution of regional commercial initiatives, events, speaker tours, medical symposia, and congress activities.
  • Strong launch implementation support, market coordination, and follow-through on priority brand initiatives.
  • Clear implementation plans, trackers, timelines, action logs, and governance processes that improve execution discipline.
  • Effective coordination across markets, regional functions, agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Actionable post-event and post-launch learnings that improve future planning and market execution.
  • Visible contribution to brand growth, customer engagement, launch excellence, and operational effectiveness across the region.

Candidate Profile

Must-have

  • 5-7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally in oncology, specialty care, or innovative brands.
  • Experience in local or regional marketing, brand execution, launch implementation, commercial operations, or customer engagement programs.
  • Strong project management and execution capability, including ability to manage timelines, deliverables, agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience organizing commercial-led initiatives such as speaker programs, expert meetings, congress activities, launch meetings, or medical education support activities.
  • Ability to translate strategic priorities into practical implementation plans and track execution progress.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, including written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across matrix organizations and coordinate across markets, regional teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • High degree of ownership, agility, attention to detail, and learning orientation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field required.

Preferred

  • Experience working on oncology brands in Women’s Cancers, GU, or related solid tumors.
  • Familiarity with Asia Pacific markets and regional stakeholder environments.
  • Experience coordinating regional congresses, speaker tours, advisory boards, launch meetings, or omnichannel activation.
  • Experience partnering with medical, market access, agencies, and local affiliate teams to deliver commercial initiatives.
  • Advanced degree such as MBA, MSc, or equivalent.
