Job Details: Job Location: San Diego HQ - SAN DIEGO, CA, Salary Range: $150000.00 - $180000.00Salary, Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated Insurance and Bad Faith Recovery Attorney to join our team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to advocate for clients who have been wrongfully denied insurance coverage or treated unfairly by insurers. The ideal candidate has a background in insurance bad faith litigation, coverage disputes, and complex insurance claims, along with a passion for holding insurance companies accountable.   This is a remote position with a strong preference for candidates based in Southern California. Travel will be required as needed for hearings, depositions, court appearances, trials, and other case-related matters.   SALARY AND BENEFITS: $150,000-$180,000 annually Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage insurance bad faith and coverage dispute cases from inception to resolution. Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Conduct legal research and draft complex motions, pleadings, discovery, and other substantive legal documents. Take and defend depositions of key witnesses, including insurance representatives. Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings. Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues to develop case strategies.   QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Active license to practice law in California. 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance bad faith, coverage disputes, or general insurance litigation. Strong motion-writing and legal research skills. Experience taking and defending depositions. Background in insurance litigation at a defense firm is a plus. Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated success working independently.
