Manage NYC Housing Lottery projects, including marketing, applicant eligibility review, and compliance reporting. Coordinate with city agencies and landlords to facilitate lease-ups and maintain regulatory documentation.
Position Summary:
This position has overall responsibility for the management of the NYC Housing Lottery projects, to include advertisement campaign, lease up and compliance reporting.
Essential Functions:
- Prospect, market and track potentially eligible applicants
- Create, review and maintain Open Marketing listings on MGNY’s listings site
- Perform Application Document Review
- Collect required income and asset documentation from the applicants
- Perform third-party verification of all income and assets utilizing the required forms
- Conduct or delegate appointments with eligible prospects
- Manage a schedule of weekly eligibility and apartment viewing appointments
- At times perform on-site or virtual walk-throughs of the apartments
- Manage assigned residential development projects
- Maintain proper documentation of marketing process to demonstrate compliance with NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development requirements
- Interact and coordinate with housing assistance case managers, as well as corresponding agencies such as NYCHA Section 8, HPD Section 8, and HRA
- Respond to general questions about the process to either clients, applicants, or potential applicants
- Prepare rent-stabilized leases and schedule lease signing
- Interact with landlord-clients, including follow-up with rent rolls and other deliverables as needed
- Prepare and submit reports to the City agencies and clients
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field and 3+ years of relevant professional experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
