Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking a proactive Associate to provide production support for its Warehouse Management System (WMS). The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing AS400‑based applications, ensuring high availability and performance of critical logistics processes, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents promptly.
Responsibilities
- Monitor WMS production environment and respond to alerts and incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve AS400 application issues affecting warehouse operations.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with functional teams to prioritize and schedule fixes.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Assist in system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Develop and execute test cases for bug fixes and enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Communicate status updates to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6+ years of production support experience with AS400 (IBM i) platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficiency in RPG, CL, or COBOL programming on AS400.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with SQL/DB2 on IBM i.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet SLA targets.
- Knowledge of logistics or supply‑chain processes is a plus.
