The Software Architect is responsible for driving the development of our cutting-edge healthcare technology platform. Architect, develop, and optimize web and mobile applications while mentoring a team of developers. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions. Play a role in resourcing teams, ensuring that the right technical expertise is allocated to key projects.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture:●Lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.● Define and implement best practices for front-end and back-end architecture.● Oversee code quality, ensuring adherence to modern software development standards.● Make key technical decisions on frameworks, libraries, and infrastructure.

Full Stack Development:● Design, build, and maintain web and mobile applications using React (or React Native) and modern backend technologies.● Develop and optimize APIs, database structures, and backend logic to support seamless user experiences.● Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance monitoring.

Team Leadership & Resourcing:● Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.● Help resource and scale the development team by identifying skill gaps and participating in hiring decisions.● Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation and continuous learning.

Collaboration & Product Development:● Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.● Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and technical roadmapping.● Balance feature development with performance optimization, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

● 10+ years of experience in full-stack development.● Proficiency in React (or React Native) for front-end development.● Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python, or Django.● Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database management (SQL or NoSQL).● Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps best practices.● Proficiency in CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).● Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and guiding developers.

Preferred Qualifications

● 15+ years of experience in full-stack development.● Experience working in healthcare or pharmacy-related applications.● Knowledge of analytics, AI, and machine learning integrations.● Familiarity with Figma or similar tools for UI/UX collaboration.● Understanding of security and compliance standards in healthcare technology (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.).

Physical Requirements● Sitting for extended periods at a desk while working at a computer.

● Location of job activities 100% remote

● Extensive computer and phone use; visual acuity, and manual dexterity (keyboarding, mouse, phone)

● Noise and/or vibration exposure

● This position may require occasional travel to attend conferences, trade shows, business meetings, or to support operations at other locations. Travel frequency, duration, and mode will depend on business needs and will be communicated in advance whenever possible. Candidates should be comfortable with traveling up to 10% of the time.
