AIMPROSOFT — Architect/Senior BigCommerce Developer!

Aimprosoft, a fast-growing IT company, is looking for a Senior BigCommerce Developer to join a long- term international project in the B2B E-commerce domain.

We are looking for an experienced BigCommerce specialist who can take ownership of an existing production solution, help stabilize it, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to its further development and technical improvement.

About the project & role:

The project is a B2B e-commerce platform for a European client. The existing solution is built on BigCommerce and integrates with several enterprise systems, including ERP, PIM, middleware, external search, and custom integration components.

This is not a greenfield implementation. The project is moving through a: Takeover → Stabilization → Support → Further Development phase.

Initially, your focus will be on knowledge transfer, understanding the existing BigCommerce implementation and integrations, investigating current issues, and stabilizing the production solution.

Once the platform is stabilized, the focus will gradually shift toward new functionality, integration improvements, technical debt reduction, and optimization of the existing architecture.

What We Need From You:

• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
  
• Strong hands-on commercial experience with BigCommerce in production environments.
  
• Deep understanding of BigCommerce platform configuration and core commerce functionality.
  
• Hands-on experience with BigCommerce REST APIs, Webhooks, and Stencil.
  
• Experience developing and troubleshooting custom BigCommerce integrations.
  
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, XML/JSON, data synchronization, and integration patterns.
  
• Experience integrating e-commerce platforms with ERP, PIM, middleware, or other enterprise systems.
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting complex production solutions.
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  
• Experience with Laravel / PHP.
  
• Experience with Typesense, Patchworks, Prodexa, or similar platforms.
  
• Experience with SAP Commerce / Hybris or enterprise B2B e-commerce.
  
• Previous experience taking over and stabilizing an existing BigCommerce implementation.
