POSITION SUMMARY

The Valuation & Advisory Infrastructure Practice Group (IPG) Appraisal Coordinator will be responsible for assisting IPG team members with research specific to right-of-way and eminent domain matters. The duties of this role will include data gathering, research and project tracking and will be dedicated to the IPG team.

 

 

Job Description

KEY COMPETENCY QUALIFICATIONS

• Research taxes, zoning information, assignment information
• Compiling Data using a variety of applications and websites
• Respond to appraiser inquiries on research and report data
• Track project status
• Assist in parsing large sets of qualitative and quantitative data
• Communicate effectively with local government entities and appraisers to obtain confirmation, clarification or direction on information relating to taxes, zoning, and permitting etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Industry related experience
• Familiarity with commercial real estate concepts including property assessments and taxes. Zoning and property values are also important.
• The ability to easily grasp new but basic real estate concepts
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• A positive attitude, desire to collaborate in a team environment, ability to track and share relevant information with colleagues and the leadership team
• Proactively solve problems and remove obstacles that prohibit the team from doing our best work
• Uphold the V&A standards of respect, responsiveness, and people first (colleagues and clients)

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $17.95 - $21.12
