Appointment Setter / SDR, Sales Match (Remote, US)
Full-time. US-based. 9 to 5 Eastern.
One seat. If you cannot read the entire job description, do not waste your time applying.
What this is:
Sales Match is a recruiting firm that places vetted closers and appointment setters with online businesses. The founder has personally closed over 8 figures in sales and built the sales teams that did it. We're hiring one appointment setter to sit inside our own business and book calls for him.
The job is dialing. This is signal-based dialing: you get a fresh list of founders every morning who have just posted a job for a closer or setter, or who are running ads that need one. These aren't completely cold leads. They're marketing-qualified.
Every founder on your list has a need, and we have the solution. They just haven't heard of us yet. You call them, have a real conversation, and book them onto a 20-minute call with the founder. That's the whole job. There is no email, no LinkedIn, no admin to hide behind. Phone, all day.
The numbers:
• 150 dials a day. 120 is the floor, not the goal.
• Every lead dialed twice a day for five days.
• 12 qualified booked calls a month by your second month, or the seat ends. Every dial, every conversation, and every booking is tracked automatically. Nothing is self-reported. What it pays
• $1,750 a month base, paid from day 31 onward. The base only starts after your first 30 days.
• $125 for every qualified call you book that shows up.
• $200 per show from your 21st qualified show in a month.
• $500 for every client the founder closes from a call you booked.
• Paid once a month.
Do the floor and book what the numbers say you'll book, and a normal month is $4,500 to $5,500. A strong month is $7,000. A month where you actually crush it is over $10,000. The comp is built so the base keeps the lights on and the bookings pay you. If you need the base to be the money, this isn't for you.
Who this is for:
• 2+ years of phone-based appointment setting or SDR experience. Not "sales." Phone. Cold. Dialing.
• Someone who is self-motivated to the point of being annoying. You will not be hand-held. You get a script, a system, and a full list every morning. After that it's you.
• Someone who wants to work directly under a founder who has done 8 figures himself and learn how he thinks about sales. • Someone who treats "no" as data and the next dial as the answer.
Who this is not for
• Anyone treating this as one of three jobs. This is full-time and it needs your full attention. If you're offer-hopping or running side gigs during dial hours, don't apply.
• Anyone who needs to be told to pick up the phone.
• Anyone who has an explanation for missing a number. Excuses aren't part of the conversation here. You either did the dials or you didn't.
• Anyone who's never sat through a full day of cold calls and wants to find out if they can. If any of that made you flinch, save us both the time and don't apply. What you get
• A daily list of marketing-qualified leads: founders who just posted that they're hiring salespeople. Not a purchased list, not random businesses.
• A power dialer, a CRM, a recorded voicemail from the founder, a call script that works, and a system that tells you exactly who to dial next. No admin.
• A clear path: setters who crush this seat get first shot at a closer position as we grow
