The Application Developer III will provide a high level of expertise in designing and developing complex software applications of diverse scope. Additional responsibilities may include providing input to help evaluate, and recommend appropriate new application technologies/solutions for the organization. As well as helping design or modify solutions for complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Develop, modify, and maintain application software that supports both the internal and external business processes that may be complex or sensitive in nature.
Develop solutions that interface with multiple enterprise platforms.
Meet with analysts and project leaders to understand requirements and timelines.
Collaborate with users, analysts and project team members to define solution requirements.
Provide framework and methodology recommendations to project team.
Maintain existing code.
Perform and/or delegates unit testing on programming changes.
Document program revisions and overall solution design.
Create new applications based on specifications provided by analysts.
Develop application and training documentation for software that is clear, succinct, accurate, and appropriately detailed.
Create and update application coding documentation standards and training documentation and makes recommendations for new methodologies.
Assist in the creation or maintenance of application installation and troubleshooting guides for programs designed/developed.
Troubleshoot moderately complex application issues and provides debugging support as needed.
Test and identify best solution, and create solution documents.
Provide support as needed in case of outages, job failures, implementations, etc.
Can troubleshoot issues with systems.
With some guidance from systems analysts, assists in the development of technical specifications as needed, and develops applications to meet the user requirements.
Understands specifications, and assists, where needed, in developing technical specifications.
Assists in formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex applications.
Has the ability to design UX and functional wire diagrams and to ask questions if something critical is missed in functional specifications.

The starting base pay range for this position is $105,630-$130,485 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
