Apparel Designer and Product Developer (Hybrid)

Location: Framingham, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $36 - 42 per hourCella is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Apparel and Product Development Designer on behalf of our client, a leader in the retail space. This opportunity focuses on driving trend concepts, color palettes, and technically accurate artwork for adult apparel categories, with a specific focus on adult sweaters. This is a 1-year contract role operating on a hybrid schedule, requiring 2 days per week onsite in Framingham, MA Responsibilities:Support the Product Development team from initial concept meetings through artwork execution and prototype development.Design and execute technically accurate artwork and concept boards utilizing freehand sketching, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.Select seasonal color palettes based on current industry trends, color intelligence, and competitive brand analysis.Create full-size artwork layouts in Adobe Illustrator with detailed technical call-outs, fill technical flats, and perform precision sketching.Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and liaise with overseas vendors throughout the product lifecycle.Manage multiple concurrent design projects, proactively identifying potential obstacles and implementing effective solutions.
