Develop and maintain native Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose with a clean architecture. Integrate wearable health data, implement RTL localization, and manage releases via the Google Play Console.
Our client is a fast-growing HealthTech company building the Arab world's first unified health-data platform — an Arabic-first app that unifies sleep, nutrition, activity and heart data from 15+ wearables, with an AI health assistant that speaks the user's language.
We're looking for a native Android Developer to work part-time and fully remote on our consumer health app. You'll build polished, Arabic-first (RTL) screens, integrate wearable/health data, and ship features that thousands of users rely on daily.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain native Android features in Kotlin
Develop UI with Jetpack Compose and a clean architecture (MVVM/MVI)
Integrate health/wearable data (e.g. Health Connect / Google Fit) and third-party devices
Consume backend REST APIs; handle offline caching and state gracefully
Implement full Arabic RTL localization and a smooth, accessible UX
Optimize performance, memory and battery usage
Manage releases through the Google Play Console
Requirements
Proven experience shipping production Android apps in Kotlin
Strong Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture skills
Experience with Coroutines/Flow, Retrofit, Room and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger)
Comfortable with REST API integration and offline-first patterns
Bonus: Health Connect / Google Fit, wearable SDKs, RTL/Arabic apps
Self-directed and reliable in a remote, part-time setup
