Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials, ensuring timely and efficient purchasing activities that support operational requirements and Supply Chain objectives.  
 

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance with company policies, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting business operations while helping drive innovation and excellence in aerospace procurement.  

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Execute procurement processes, including RFP (Request for Proposal) management, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis, to support operational goals and strategies. 
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction. 
  • Manage purchasing activities for goods, materials, supplies, and services, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and securing favorable terms. 
  • Prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and negotiate pricing to ensure efficient and smooth procurement operations. 
  • Coordinate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve issues such as shortages or late deliveries. 
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers within a specific commodity to align with business needs and performance expectations. 
  • Oversee schedules and purchase orders for assigned commodities, ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization. 

 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with less than 2 years of relevant experience 
  • Advanced proficiency in English 

 

Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English. 
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM 
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate schedules, purchase orders, and deliveries effectively.
