Airport Planning & Environmental Consultant

AlphaGov is engaging an Airport Planning & Environmental Consultant for current municipal work. A general aviation airport needs airport planning and/or environmental consulting for its Airport Capital Improvement Plan.

We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.

What you'll do

- Prepare and update Airport Capital Improvement Plans and airport layout plan inputs

- Support FAA/state AIP grant planning and justification

- Lead NEPA environmental documentation for airport projects

- Coordinate with FAA ADO and state aviation offices

- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Requirements

Required

- At least 5 years of professional experience in airport planning or airport environmental work

- Working knowledge of FAA AIP, ACIP, ALP, and NEPA (FAA Order 1050.1F)

- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant

Nice to have

- General aviation airport experience in the Southeast

- PE or AICP

- GIS skills
