AI Summary

You will develop and execute AI visibility strategies by measuring enterprise brand performance within AI recommendation engines. This involves analyzing search patterns, optimizing content architecture, and briefing high-quality content to ensure client visibility.

AI Visibility Strategist

Full-time · Remote-first (Canada) · Reports to the Head of Advisory

About podium iq

AI models now decide who gets recommended, considered and chosen. We measure how enterprise brands show up inside those answers, score them against the competitors that actually appear, and turn the finding into a content plan. Then we ship the content. Most of this category stops at the dashboard - we don’t, which is why our clients are financial institutions, global consumer technology brands, national regulating bodies, and major consulting firms.

What the work looks like

It starts with a conversation rather than a query. A client arrives with something they want to understand, usually phrased more vaguely than they realize, and your first job is to turn it into a question worth measuring. Get that wrong and the run is a beautifully rendered answer to nothing, which is the most expensive mistake available to us.

Then the results come back and you interrogate them. The platform surfaces the pattern and ranks the recommendation. You bring the market context, the competitive read and the client knowledge that turns a strong recommendation into the right one for that business, this quarter.

The third part is making sure the fix can be found. Answer engine optimization is yours: structure, schema, internal linking, architecture, and the retrieval signals that decide whether a page gets cited or sits there unread. You will brief the content, review it, and hold the quality line before anything reaches a client.

You do all of this beside our founder and our head of advisory to begin with, on live enterprise accounts, learning the method on real work rather than in a deck. Then you take accounts of your own, and we would like that to happen quickly.

What we’re looking for

  • Six or more years in SEO, content strategy or digital strategy, spent owning the thinking rather than executing someone else's.

  • Real AEO and SEO range, technical and editorial. Schema and structured data, site and content architecture, crawl and indexation, on-page, internal linking, and comfort inside analytics and visibility platforms.

  • Analytical rigour with writing to match. You can take something large and noisy and come back with one page that is right.

  • A point of view you offer before anyone asks for it, and the research to back it up.

  • A nose for the missing question. The platform is strong and the models change weekly, so what we value most is your sense of what the analysis has not been asked.

  • We build with AI across our stack and you will too. Underneath it we want your own hypothesis and the curiosity to find out whether it held.

  • The habit of raising a hand. We are distributed, and the people who enjoy it here flag capacity early and pull threads nobody handed them.

What you’ll build toward:

Within your first 6 months you will have command of a methodology you cannot learn anywhere else, genuine depth in a category that is only about two years old, and the presence to carry a room full of enterprise stakeholders, built by watching, then supporting, then leading.

The practical details

Remote-first and open to candidates within Canada. You will work with strategists, copywriters, creative and product across several time zones, asynchronously by default. We are still building the culture rather than inheriting one, and that is meant as an invitation.

If this sounds like you, then here's how to apply

Send us your resume and two other things:

  1. A piece of analysis you are proud of, with a short note on what you concluded that the data did not obviously hand you and what changed because of it.

  2. A question about AI search you have not been able to answer yet.

Short listed candidates will be invited to run an asynchronous analysis inside podium iq, which is the closest thing to a real day with podium iq and the part where we learn the most about how you think.
