The AI Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and operating AI solutions end-to-end — from problem framing and data preparation through model development, deployment, and ongoing monitoring. This role sits at the intersection of research and engineering, and requires strong technical depth, sound judgment on ethics and risk, and the ability to communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement AI algorithms and machine learning models to solve business problems. Analyze and preprocess large datasets, including feature engineering and data quality assessment. Evaluate model performance and fine-tune algorithms to achieve optimal accuracy and efficiency. Deploy AI models into production environments and monitor them for performance and drift. Troubleshoot production AI systems and resolve issues in real time. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to build intelligent systems. Present findings, recommendations, and technical insights to stakeholders and decision-makers. Develop and maintain clear documentation for models, pipelines, and solution architectures. Conduct applied research to advance the organization's capabilities in AI and machine learning. Ensure AI solutions meet ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices. Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and related technologies. QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science. Proven track record of published research or production AI work in machine learning or a related field. Demonstrated experience designing and deploying machine learning models in real-world environments. Technical Skills Strong programming skills. Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques. Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and applications. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Experience with Salesforce AI is preferred. Proficiency with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large datasets. Experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with software development best practices. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
