AI Process Re-engineering Analyst

Job Purpose

The AI Process re-engineering analyst plays a critical role in identifying, shaping, and prioritizing high-value Workplace AI opportunities that transform how AstraZeneca works. This role partners with business functions to reimagine processes, embed AI and automation into workflows, and ensure that every use case is designed for measurable impact and scalability through the Agent Factory operating model.

Typical Accountabilities

• Identify and Shape AI Opportunities
  Analyze business processes to uncover inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for AI-driven improvement across collaboration and productivity workflows.
• Design Future-Ready Workflows
  Partner with business stakeholders to reimagine ways of working, embedding AI, automation, and digital tools into process design.
• Facilitate Envisioning and Design Thinking Workshops
  Lead collaborative sessions to generate ideas, priorities use cases, and co-create solutions that deliver tangible business value.
• Define Frameworks for Use Case Assessment
  Establish structured approaches for evaluating feasibility, risk, and value of AI use cases, ensuring alignment with governance and the Agent Factory model.
• Drive Process Optimization and Buy-In
  Work with business functions to redesign processes, secure stakeholder commitment, and ensure co-creation of solutions.
• Measure Outcomes and ROI
  Define success metrics and capture measurable outcomes from re-engineered processes to support scaling decisions.

• Champion Responsible AI Adoption
  Promote a culture of innovation and responsible experimentation, ensuring that AI solutions are ethical, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

• Proven experience in business process analysis, digital transformation, or AI-driven change.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and workplace collaboration platforms.
• Skilled in design thinking, process optimization, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Ability to define value measurement frameworks and ROI models.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Familiarity of working in an international, multi-time zone support environment.  

Desirable

• Experience in governance and risk assessment for AI solutions.
• Background in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
