At magier, we're building a global remote team of first-class Designers and Developers for leading Startups and SMEs in Europe. Besides our design subscription, we take on one-time web projects: new websites, relaunches, landing pages and full brand and web builds, each with a clear scope and launch date.

As our AI-Native Frontend Developer, you're the technical lead for these builds. You turn Figma designs into fast, pixel-perfect websites with Astro and Sanity, use AI every day to ship faster, and own each build from setup to handover.

🤖 What you'll do

• Build new websites and relaunches with Astro, from project setup to launch

• Turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive and accessible websites

• Set up Sanity so clients can manage their content on their own

• Use AI tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor) to speed up builds, migrations and QA

• Help us build AI into our workflow, from Figma-to-code to automated testing

• Optimise performance, Core Web Vitals and technical SEO before every launch

• Plan milestones, deliver on launch dates and hand over with clear documentation

🖌️ Requirements

• 3+ years as a full-time or freelance Frontend / Web Developer

• Production websites shipped with Astro (live examples required)

• Solid Sanity experience (schemas, Studio, GROQ)

• You use AI coding tools daily and know where they help and where they don't

• Strong HTML, CSS, TypeScript and Tailwind; React, Vue or Svelte is a plus

• Strong focus on performance, technical SEO and relaunches incl. redirects

• An eye for detail and proficient English (written and spoken)
