The Engagement Manager owns the post-sale customer journey, orchestrating the transition from sales to engineering and driving on-time delivery of AI projects. They act as a trusted advisor to clients while identifying new opportunities for growth and value creation.
As Engagement Manager, you will own the post-sale customer journey: orchestrating handoffs from Sales to Engineering, driving on-time delivery, and continually identifying new ways to create value. You are part project conductor, part trusted advisor, and part growth catalyst.
Core Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
- Lead multiple AI implementation projects from kickoff through launch and optimization.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk logs
- Hold engineering and data teams accountable for sprint deliverables, escalate blockers, and manage tradeoffs between scope and schedule.
Customer Success and Relationship Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of AI Velocity and maintenance clients
- Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and planning sessions.
- Communicate updates clearly and translate technical milestones into business impact.
Opportunity Expansion:
- Analyze client workflows and data to uncover new AI opportunities.
- Frame and scope these opportunities as projects to add to the Velocity backlog.
- Collaborate with Sales to support renewals and upsells.
Process Improvement:
- Improve our delivery playbook, templates, and dashboards.
- Promote best practices in documentation, change management, and knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills. You will run executive meetings and prepare client-facing materials.
- 5 or more years managing complex software or data/AI projects.
- Strong experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success, Consulting, or Solutions Delivery.
- Comfortable engaging with technical teams about APIs, data pipelines, and ML concepts. You do not need to code, but must bridge the gap between business and technical language.
- Proficient with tools like Notion, Jira, and Asana.
- Analytical thinker who can read KPIs, prioritize work, and quantify ROI.
- Employment verification, education verification, and an international background check will be required.
- Must be authorized to work in your local jurisdiction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with GenAI, LLM tools, or MLOps platforms.
- Understanding of B2B SaaS commercial models.
- Certifications like Lean Six Sigma, PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM are a plus.
