We are seeking a detail-oriented AI Data Annotator to support the development and improvement of AI and machine learning models through accurate data labeling, classification, and validation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring AI systems are trained using high-quality datasets that produce reliable and effective outcomes.

The successful candidate will work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and quality teams to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

 

Data Annotation & Labeling

  • Create high-quality datasets that support AI model training.
  • Label, categorize, and annotate structured and unstructured data.
  • Follow annotation guidelines and quality standards.
  • Review datasets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain consistency across annotation projects.

Data Quality Assurance

  • Support the integrity and effectiveness of training data.
  • Perform quality checks and validation activities.
  • Identify annotation errors and inconsistencies.
  • Escalate data quality concerns when necessary.
  • Participate in calibration and review exercises.

Dataset Management

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining AI training datasets.
  • Organize and manage data annotation workflows.
  • Track progress against project timelines.
  • Support dataset updates and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure proper version control and documentation.

Collaboration & Feedback

  • Work effectively with technical and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with AI trainers and data scientists.
  • Provide feedback on annotation processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in team discussions and training sessions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the enhancement of annotation practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the development of annotation guidelines.
  • Stay informed about AI and machine learning developments.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Linguistics, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working with data entry, content review, annotation, or quality assurance activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security standards.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets.

Nice to Have

 

  • Previous AI data annotation experience.
  • Experience working with annotation platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of NLP or Generative AI concepts.
  • Exposure to quality assurance processes.
  • Experience reviewing multilingual content.
  • Familiarity with data governance requirements.
  • Experience in BPO, technology, or digital environments.
  • Understanding of prompt evaluation methodologies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
