Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an experienced Aeronautical Engineer OR Principal Aeronautical Engineer (Subsystems) to join the Air Vehicle Subsystems Design and Analysis team. These aircraft subsystems include Environmental Control Systems, Liquid Cooling Systems, Fuel Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Fire Protection Systems. The position will primarily support the Triton program but will also have the opportunity to work on a related family of platforms for various military and international programs.
This position will be located at our Aeronautics Sector in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The position currently works in a Hybrid capacity with the ability to work some days remotely during the work week. (Job will require on-site work a minimum of 2 days per week based on program needs.)
Specific roles and duties include:
The ideal candidate would have existing experience as a Responsible Engineer for fluid subsystems in support of aircraft development, production, and sustainment activities.
This position can be filled at either the Aeronautical Engineer (Subsystems) or the Principal Aeronautical Engineer (Subsystems) level, depending upon the qualifications below.

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
