The LMS Administrator serves as a critical partner to L&D, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, data-driven training solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
LMS Configuration & Administration
- Design, configure, and maintain the LMS structure to align with organizational learning strategies.
- Set up courses, learning paths, curricula, and certifications in a logical, user-friendly format.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure appropriate system use.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes within the LMS.
- Customize the LMS interface and functionality to meet learner and client needs.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Generate and analyze reports on training effectiveness, including completion rates, engagement, and learner performance.
- Provide insights to stakeholders to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Monitor ROI of training programs and identify opportunities to enhance outcomes.
- Use data to recommend improvements in course design, delivery, and user experience.
Technical Support & System Maintenance
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patch management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues such as system errors, bugs, and access problems.
- Collaborate with LMS vendors and IT teams to resolve system-related challenges.
- Proactively identify risks and prevent system disruptions or downtime.
System Integration & Customization
- Integrate LMS with internal systems (HRIS, CRM, etc.) and third-party tools.
- Ensure accurate data transfer and system interoperability.
- Lead customization efforts to enhance functionality and user experience.
- Align system capabilities with organizational and client-specific learning needs.
- Proficiency in workflow automation tools such as Power Automate or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, advanced Excel or equivalent.
- Knowledge of eLearning standards including SCORM and xAPI.
User Support & Training
- Provide end-user support, including troubleshooting login and navigation issues.
- Develop job aids, guides, and training sessions to improve LMS adoption.
- Partner with stakeholders across HR, IT, Operations, and L&D to ensure alignment.
- Gather and act on user feedback to continuously improve the learning experience.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with LMS technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Implement enhancements such as gamification, AI-driven learning, and personalization.
- Ensure accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2) are met across all learning content.
- Explore emerging technologies such as VR/AR to enhance experiential learning.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience managing or administering an LMS in a corporate or educational setting.
- Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Absorb,Litmos, SuccessFactors,).
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of LMS configuration, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience with system integrations and data management.
