Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach AVMG 630 – Aviation/Aerospace Systems Analysis Online.

Course Description  

Study of systems theory and its relationship to aviation/aerospace systems management; system life cycle, system design, support, reliability, maintainability, availability, customer support, product improvement, cost-effectiveness analysis, and simulation models.

Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California.  ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases. 

 

If selected for this role, the candidate will be required to provide proof of stated qualifications. This includes, but is not limited to, official transcripts, copies of professional licenses/certifications, documentation of military experience, and/or verified professional industry related experience.    

Qualifications

Applicant Qualifications  

18 graduate credit hours in any of the Teaching Disciplines within the doctoral program.

Appropriate Certification:   

  • INFORMS

  • INCOSE

  • CPEM (ASEM)

Desired Professional Training or Experience:    

Certifications related to the training/teaching and/or subject matter would be beneficial.

Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline:  

  • Aviation Management

  • Airport Management

  • Airline Management

  • Transportation Management

  • Systems Engineering

  • Aeronautical Science

  • Aviation

Related Discipline: 

  • Systems Science

  • Modeling and Simulation

  • Simulation Science
