Role Scope & Purpose

The Ad Buyer is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across digital advertising platforms to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue for clients. This role requires a data-driven mindset and deep platform expertise to manage advertising budgets effectively, continuously test and iterate on creative and targeting strategies, and deliver measurable ROI. The Ad Buyer works closely with creative, account management, and analytics teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with client goals and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, launch, and manage paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and/or Pinterest Ads.
• Develop audience targeting strategies including interest-based, lookalike, retargeting, and custom audiences.
• Manage and allocate advertising budgets to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and meet client KPIs.
• Continuously test ad creative, copy, landing pages, and audience segments through structured A/B testing.
• Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven optimizations to bids, budgets, and targeting.
• Analyze performance reports and provide clear, actionable insights to account managers and clients.
• Collaborate with creative teams to brief and iterate on ad assets based on performance data.
• Stay current with platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry trends in paid media.
• Ensure pixel and tracking implementation is accurate for proper attribution and reporting.
• Contribute to campaign strategy and media planning for new client onboarding.

Requirements

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns such as Meta, Google, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize campaigns with significant monthly ad spend.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with performance data and making optimization decisions.
• Experience with audience segmentation, A/B testing, and funnel-based campaign strategy.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms.
• Solid understanding of attribution models and pixel/tracking setup.
• Strong written communication skills for client reporting and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional environment for client calls.
• Availability to work US time zones.
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or programmatic platforms.
• Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications.
• Experience with e-commerce brands such as Shopify, DTC, or Amazon-adjacent.
• Familiarity with creative testing frameworks and performance creative strategies.
• Experience using reporting tools such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar attribution platforms.
• Background managing campaigns across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
