Role overview
Remote Recruitment is looking for a remote Accounts Receivable Clerk to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll help keep incoming payments on track and customer accounts accurate. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
Key responsibilities
- Raise and send customer invoices accurately and on time
- Track incoming payments and allocate them to accounts
- Follow up on overdue invoices politely and professionally
- Reconcile customer accounts and flag discrepancies
- Keep clear records and support month-end reporting
What you'll need
- Experience with accounts receivable or bookkeeping tasks
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and numbers
- Clear written and spoken English
- A reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace
