Our client is a UAE-based video production and advertising company, with an office in Malad, Mumbai.
The company operates in the creative and media production space, with its work focused on video production, advertising, and related creative content.
We are looking for an Accounts Executive who can support the accounts function with accurate and timely handling of routine accounting entries.
About the Role
The role is primarily focused on basic day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate will work closely with the Accounts Manager and will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and entering routine financial transactions.
This is a Work From Home position, so prior remote-working experience and a professional home working setup are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle basic day-to-day accounting entries
- Record purchase entries
- Record sales entries
- Record and maintain bank entries
- Maintain accounting records and ledgers accurately
- Ensure transactions are entered correctly and on time
- Maintain invoices, bills, and supporting accounting documents
- Coordinate with the Accounts Manager regarding accounting entries and requirements
- Follow the accounting processes and instructions provided by the Accounts Manager
Note: This role is primarily focused on basic accounting entries and does not require extensive finalization, taxation, or complex accounting responsibilities.
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Minimum 6 months of prior Work From Home experience
- Prior hands-on experience with QuickBooks is mandatory
- Practical experience with basic:
- Purchase entries
- Sales entries
- Bank entries
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Good English verbal communication skills
- Good laptop/computer setup suitable for full-time work
- Reliable and stable internet connection
- A quiet and disturbance-free workspace at home
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in routine accounting work and should be comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
