Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and support financial reporting, compliance, and strategic analysis. This role involves managing general ledger activities, coordinating audits, and partnering with business leaders to ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and organizational policies
  
• Oversee general ledger processes and accounting operations
  
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including year-end audit support
  
• Develop and maintain financial systems, reporting metrics, and internal controls
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
  
• Optimize accounting workflows for improved efficiency and accuracy
  
• Provide financial insights and participate in strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership on financial planning and reporting
  
• Contribute to team development through knowledge sharing and collaboration
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  
• CPA designation preferred
  
• Strong experience with full accounting cycle: treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives
  
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
  
• Experience working with external auditors preferred
  
• Exposure to multinational or international accounting environments is an asset
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in a team environment
