Accountant & Tax Support – US Tax Experience

We are looking for an experienced Accountant & Tax Support professional with hands-on experience in US tax and accounting to support US-based clients and accounting operations.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a US tax department, accounting firm, or similar environment, with direct exposure to US tax preparation and accounting processes. Experience preparing or reviewing US individual/personal tax returns is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and review of US personal tax returns.
• Support US tax-related accounting activities and documentation.
• Review financial information and tax documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with gathering, organizing, and validating information required for tax preparation.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential issues in financial and tax records.
• Perform account reconciliations and support general accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized client and financial records.
• Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding accounting and tax-related matters.
• Follow established US tax and accounting procedures and deadlines.
• Provide support during tax season and other high-volume periods.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on US tax and accounting experience.
• Previous experience working in a US tax department, accounting firm, CPA firm, or similar environment.
• Direct experience with US tax preparation or tax support.
• Strong understanding of US accounting principles and tax concepts.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting US individual/personal tax returns is strongly preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial and tax information and identify discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience with accounting or tax software is preferred.

The ideal candidate is not only an accountant or bookkeeper but someone who has practical experience working with US tax matters.

Candidates with experience in a US accounting/tax firm, particularly those who have worked directly with US individual tax returns, will be prioritized.
