Position Summary
Under general supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Assistant performs a variety of accounting and administrative tasks in support of the Accounting Team.
Primary Responsibilities
Bookkeeping using QuickBooks accounting software
Accounts Payable
Invoice review, scanning
Check processing, mailing
Vendor maintenance
Supply pricing management
Accounts Receivable
Prepare deposits
Payment posting
Filing, clerical work, miscellaneous administrative projects
Opening, sorting, and distributing mail
Assist with yearly tax preparation and reporting
Assist in monthly reconciliations
Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Controller and Accounting Staff
Cultivate relationships with the client, physicians, clinical staff, and MedBridge team
Perform other duties as assigned
