In the role of Accounting Advisor, you will be a part of our Global accounting team and responsible for the accounting of one or a few international client companies with the support of the rest of the team. You will handle clients’ daily financial matters such as bookkeeping and monthly reporting, as well as financial statements and tax returns. You will work closely with clients, participate in client meetings, and ensure that agreed actions are carried out in practice. At the same time, you will be an active member of the team and contribute to developing how we work together.

Our accounting teams have clearly defined roles and responsibilities. Typically, both Accounting Advisors and Accounting Specialists work within each client account. The Accounting Advisor is responsible for the client’s bookkeeping and financial statements, while the Accounting Specialist handles accounts payable and supporting accounting tasks. The Service Manager is responsible for the client relationship and satisfaction, and enables the team’s growth and development in a leadership role. With clear responsibilities for everyone, work remains structured and focused. We mainly work in pairs to ensure smooth coverage during absences and holidays.

We handle accounting fully electronically and are pioneers in technological development. We use modern tools and continuously improve our financial processes—for example through automation and AI. In practice:

  • You are responsible for the agreed daily accounting tasks of your designated client companies.

  • You manage month‑end closing processes end‑to‑end, ensuring tasks are completed on time and with high quality.

  • You are responsible for the correctness and timeliness of VAT processes and related reporting.

  • You independently prepare financial statements and tax returns for larger companies, ensuring they present a comprehensive and reliable picture of the company’s financial position and meet all reporting obligations.

  • You participate in client relationship management and client meetings together with the team and ensure that agreed actions progress smoothly.

  • You support the team by sharing your expertise, helping clarify responsibilities, and contributing to the development of shared working methods and high‑quality deliverables.

The practical stuff

You can shape your workday in a way that suits you – at the office or remotely. You are warmly welcome to our lovely offices in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Salo, Kotka, and Lahti, or you can work remotely from anywhere in Finland. Occasionally, working from abroad is also possible. In Oulu, we have access to a modern coworking space.

The salary range for this role is €3400–€3900 per month, depending on your background. Holiday bonus is paid monthly together with the salary and is therefore included in the monthly salary.

Keys to success in this role
  • Have several years of experience managing the full accounting process and independently preparing financial statements from start to finish.

  • Can confidently handle more challenging situations and find solutions efficiently and reliably.

  • Are client‑oriented and have strong customer service and communication skills—you can explain financial matters clearly and build trusting client relationships.

  • Are comfortable working independently but value teamwork and ask for support when needed. You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping colleagues. A positive team spirit and smooth collaboration are important to us.

  • Have fluent Finnish and good English skills, as the official language of our organization is English.

  • Have excellent Excel skills and use them extensively (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
