Accountant (PH)

Position Summary

The Accountant executes the day-to-day accounting work for assigned clients. This role is responsible for transaction coding, bank reconciliations, data entry, document management, preparing reports for manager review, and maintaining client portals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for 5–10 assigned clients
  
• Code and categorize transactions accurately and on schedule
  
• Complete bank, credit card, and other balance sheet reconciliations monthly
  
• Manage data entry and client document organization
  
• Prepare reports and work papers for Accounting Manager review
  
• Maintain client portals and ensure documents are current
  
• Track and log time accurately against each client account
  
• Raise questions and blockers to Accounting Manager promptly
  
• Follow documented workflows and checklists for each client
  

Qualifications

Education

• Accounting degree or certificate preferred but not required
  

Experience

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
  
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software
